of course it's good, it's dark.
the only thing I could recomend would be alternating the textures a bit, maybe giving the mid sections a bit of a darker texture.

You know we need? We need a texture bank....some more of the 'heavy armor' kind of textures like the one on the Phobos would be nice. So we can get some variety but still have the armor look.

I disagree about the textures. Its a very hard very militaristic look too it. Its also sort of chrome plated looking...very nice.

A Deimos is not a ship to be trifled with. Alot of people underestimate the amount of damage it can do to something.

the only problem with the Deimos is the same as the Orion... they cause massive damage, but fall to bombers because of their hopelessly defended underbellies...
Notic the LRM launchers & the heavy flak cannons underneath...
btw, i think im gonna ask for the Torpedo launchers to have a 5o field of fire at best... otherwise they will be downing fighters with Helios' (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)

Can't do that, Helios have 'Huge' tag. You can use them, but the computer won't.

It is nice- but I honestly think a little variation in the textures would do some good to the model, I know you can't allways see the difference in the game, but it would make it look much better if there was a strip with lights or something on there, maybe a darker texture from the rest of the ship, as it is most of it looks like he just slapped one texture on there to preview the model (though it still looks mighty fine) (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/wink.gif)
