Mind mailing me the 'official FS2' font?
It's probably about the only one I don't have.   (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/wink.gif)

I don't think the official FS2 font exists (made by Interplay btw). I started working on making the FS2 font. But I had a problem. I haven't found a font creator program that imports Illustrator .AI files.
So I put the project on ice and I almost forgot about it, and recently I have got some messages asking about the FS2 font. So I thought that I finally should complete it. So if someone knows a fontprogram that lets you import .AI files mail me or write it here.

'STOP' is the name of the font used on the Orion nameplates.  Extremely similar to 'Scott' as well.

Oh so you are converting the text to outlines, then making the triangle things! Good thinking, man!

I still haven't found a program that imports AI. files but there is a way around it. I have a fontprogram that lets you imports BMP files and then the program "read" the letters. And in Illustrator you can save your pictures a JPG and then I must convert the files to BMP. It takes a little longer to make it this way, but I think it would work.

I don't know if it still has this capability, but Coreldraw 5 used to be able to export/create/adding to TTF files. And if I'm not mistaken, whatever can output AI files will surely be able to generate a .(E)PS files?
But even so, I think Coreldraw takes .AI files too. Still ,it'll be a lot of work...
