In Oldham, England a baby chucked a can of Pepsi out of his pram. A "Litter enforcement officer" saw this and, even though the Father offered to try to get the can out of a thorny bush it had landed in. The Dad was then slapped with a £50 fine! The litter fine is supposed to be for people over 10 years old, and yet the litter dropper was only 18 months old.
What is this country coming to?

well considering aussies handcuf 5th graders i dont see why your *****ing
the thing of the worl is that were all just after money
-
Yeah but, come on, an 18 Month old kid! It's not like the dad could have stopped him doing it! He even tried to get the CAn out before the "Officer" came over.
-
Agreed, that was unfair and lame...
-
Since when the **** can this country afford 'litter enforcement officers' when we can barely afford our current sham of a police force?

Ireland has it worse: http://www.wicklow.ie/bulletin%20board/litterfines.htm

Why am I no longer surprised by this ****e?

The funniest one was some North London boroughs actually paid people to walk around with cameras trying to catch people not cleaning up after their dog.....
But charging an 18month old kid is just pathetic, I hope the guy spreads this over as many newspapers as he can find.

I bet soon a new law comes in saying: anyone who criticised the British Justice System is guilty of treason.
Would anyone be surprised?

It is one of the few positive things about British Media is that it has the power to prevent that ever happening. Sometimes having a moderately Free press is a blessing, even if only for Page 3 ;)

Just proves that England has degraded over the past 10 years.....
