Title: Campaign model request(s)...
Post by: Nuclear1 on January 28, 2005, 08:49:58 pm
I was just wondering if anyone here still makes specific Orion nameplates. Simply, due to my own lack of skill in modeling, I wouldn't be able to make them, so if someone with some experience in making custom Orion nameplates could help me out here, that would be much appreciated. :D

Only problem is (please feel free to laugh) that I don't own any version of Photoshop. Thanks for the reference, though. ;)

If you have proper font installed and pretty much any graphics program that can load .pcx, it shouldn't be too hard...

I haven't tried in years (since that tutorial was first released) to do it in PSP8, but I couldn't make them look nearly as good. I'll give it a shot though, as I am MUCH better now.

If I can make orion nameplates then anyone can! :D

If you have photoshop or PSP you should find it pretty simple to follow Goober's Tutorial.

You could also download the GIMP.

STOP font causes GIMP 2.0 to crash, I think. Or at least it started crashing when loading fonts at the same time I added STOP to the fonts.
