				cool.  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)
The only thing I can think of is the letters should be behind the ship, not in front of part of it...

It's like something out of Star-Trek Voyagers holodeck... I like it!  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)

Hmm... how about a low-poly FS TC for some 20s type serial? (i.e. change the FS plot to match what it would be in such a 20s serial, with the Evil Shivanika and such like that  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/wink.gif) )
...or maybe I've been watching too much Captain Proton(tm)

I like it- it captures the old-looking B&W effect nicely. The only fallacy is that the Earth in the background is far too detailed for that era.  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)

You are all such critics. enjoy the picture instead of pointing out small details.

True. I like it. There are elements of it that I can pick holes at, but there are other elements in that render I couldn't hope to emulate (soon, anyway). Take the modelling of that ship. I could say that its textures are not detailed and do not fit the detailed Earth in the background, but I can't even model that ship in the first place.
Hence, good job Artimus. You keep moving in leaps and bounds, I can't wait to see you do more renders and more ships for FS2.  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)

Oh, I do enjoy the picture. But pointing out problems or potential problems, however small, makes it more likely that they won't be there in the next piece. It's called Constructive Criticism.  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/wink.gif)

I think you should make that Earth in the background hang on a string  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/wink.gif)

Funny that, yesterday I was watching the Star Trek (OS) episode called "The Doomsday Machine" and I only just notices how terrible the effects are, but I love that show!  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)
