I did a search but it didn’t turn up any definitive answers. So what is the maximum number of multi-part turrets a model can have?

25 I think....alltouhg I wouldn't go over 10 or 15 max if I were you....

IIRC it's something like 12. Unless that's one of the limits that's been bumped by the SCP. Multiparts are generally bad for the SCP as they are actually two additional models to render for a single turret.

But they look better. Those one parter turrets on most FS ships look like warts.

One of our model uses 20 and works pretty good. I guess it is 25 or more

The limit was around 12 but it was bumped after one of Trashman's requests.

and I made ships with 18-20 turrets that kept chrashing....
Now I know why..the damn subsystem HP limit!!!!
