Title: leader for the shivans???
Post by: spaceman spiff on February 02, 2005, 12:48:37 pm: anyone know what happened to the guy that wrote leader for the shivans? http://freespace.volitionwatch.com/lfts/lfts.shtml the story is pretty good.... but he never finished the last episode for his 3rd novel.... so yeah... anyone know what happened??

For a children's sci-fi or some B category sitcome - True.
But it doesn't come anywhere near what FS put you through.

Anyway it is a nice fic, but it doesn't fit with the whole feeling of Freespace IMHO.

Post by: Styxx on February 03, 2005, 06:52:39 am: There were a lot of freaky fanfics back then. I remember Beyond Laramis and a few other big ones... But Plasma's ones have always been the best - he always kept the right atmosphere and didn't screw up the concepts from the games.

Hey, it's you! And why? It was sort of freaky, with the upgraded Colossus and the whole fleet beyond... what was that weird storm called? But I read it all at least twice. It was loads of fun.
