Can someone point me to good tutorial about how to build FS2 ship in max , I don`t need the basics but how to do hierarchy , how to place turets debries and engines etc.

In max? Link the turrets and shields to the hull, everything else (LODs, Debris, etc) just floats there. And the max converter will pick it out (if it's named properly)

This is assuming your using styxx's converter.

In Max form? I'd suggest aldo's modeldumps. But where they are, I can't remember. Somewhere on fileplanet.

Oh and since I forgot, and no one else did this:

Problem with aldo's modeldumps is that the ships in the will have been set up for export to Truespace rather than for the MAX converter since it didn't exist yet at the time the modeldumps were released.

Of course you could ask Raa for a peek at his sobek model :D

I... err... don't have that scene again. That hard drive started clicking and then died on me.  I'm going to have to re set up the max file so I can get it working proper, with the turrets actually on the hull. Soon.
