My Computer died. :( RIP old computer. Now I have to use the old one. :( Oh well. I'll see what I can dig up towards getting a new one. :)
-
Do you know what's wrong with it? You might only have to replace one part to get it working again....
-
It wouldn't load windows, and then I hit it on the tower and made sure it wouldn't run, so now I have an excuse to get a new one! :D
-
something with the RAM?
-
No... I thik he broke it himself... from what he just posted. :p
-
...that's just...uhhhh!
Are you're parents saavy enough to know whether you're telling the whole truth about the situation with your computer? It's how I got my new XP 1800+ system.

Is it just me our are a lot of these threads popping up lately...
-
I feel like creating a thread that my computer works just fine... :drevil:
-
The thread would probably crash out of sheer disbelief.....
-
Um, sounds to me like you've wasted a lot of money. Well done... :blah:

That's what computers are for.
-
No. You give money and gain usage. That's no waste.
-
At the low end anyway...the price/performance quotient is way down comparatively for the higher end parts.

No, I mean you (from what you posted) smashed up a computer that may have had nothing wrong with it other than a loose RAM stick, or a corrupted boot partition, or something equally trivial that wouldn't need much to fix. So buying a new computer would be unnecessary. Or even if you wanted a new one, you could sell the old one and get some cash for it once it's fixed, or donate it to somebody, or even keep it as a backup machine...
