my first fanpic since freespace. the background is Blizzard's of course, but the character is all mine. enjoy.

Holy crap! PeachE, how'd you do that?
-
:D:yes:
awesome dude just awesome
-
Great character, but the lack of resolution in the background image does show quite clearly.
-
oh i know. i'm going to redraw the background when i get a chance. just been too busy lately to work on anything but the elf.
-
mmmmmm Darkshore....

Mmh, sorry to point that out, but the left breast isn't really realistic :nervous:
I mean, the outer side should like to the arm, not to the middle of the clavicle.

i see what you're saying, but it's not really a problem with the breast so much as the blue shirt. i had a hell of a time putting highlights on that damn thing and it still needs tweaking.
besides, it could always be armor ;) i doubt anyone would go into battle wearing nothing but a blue suede shirt.

I like the dagger especially. Coolness.
-
Awsome.
Hey man, do you work as an artist too? Or is it more just a hobby?
Or are you still in school?
I like the white cloths on the arms, the shoulder blade pads would suggest there would be more of it on her chest or something though.
Great work! :D

Ah, but she's not going into battle, she's touring the world :D
Mmh, there's a 1/1 scale female elf at the FNAC in my city ( FNAC, some large shop where you can get about everything for home, from comics to plasma screens ), and, well, she's rather scandily clad. Must be winter in your screenshot :D ;)

a very low opacity linear dodge layer could bring out the details and depth a tad.

no, i'm a software engineer. art's my favorite hobby but just that. the closest i get to it at work is when i get to draw icons for our projects.

Funny thing is that I reckon your threads get so few posts cause everyone is just speechless :D
-
Mmk.
So tell me how did you make this one?
Is it all photoshop?
Or did you sketch then colour?
Do you think you'd take requests...? :)

sketch and then color, tho i usually don't stay very true to the original sketches.
and i do from time to time. right now, i'm doing an office poster for a friend, but let me know what you had in mind, and i can tell you if i've got time and the time frame we'd be dealing with.
-
You mentioned that you do icons for your company. Interested in doing some for a game? :) I've PMed you.

that's a very cool outfit. i consider it unfair that in RL(tm) we're laughed at if we try to dress like that. and arrested for carrying daggers like that. did you design it yourself or did you rip it from somewhere?

i did. i had considered some more elaborate designs, but i thought the simplicity of this one worked well.
oh and Ace, responded.

Kewl, if I remember what I was thinking of getting drawn in my drunken splurge I will PM you. :D
Oh and would it be possible to see the original sketch?
It's just that I like to see how things progress... :)
