Title: I need some advice on web design software....
Post by: MatthewPapa on February 07, 2005, 04:33:47 pm
I am currently upgrading my website. Frontpage (ugh!) is giving me the headache of my life! I am trying to make it so I can embed PHP without the software flipping out trying to read it as html! So I come to you guys...what is some good webdesign software that has the following.

-PHP visual editing ability. By this I mean that it can edit the HTML and PHP aspects of a web document at the same time.
-An OK visual interface
-Ability to edit in frames

Thanks in advance for any advance
-Matt

Dreamweaver MX 2004 would probably be your best bet. I don't know specifically that it can do all those things, mostly cause I've never had the need, but the situation is pretty much: if anything can, Dreamweaver can.

so...yeah.
