Hi, right, ok I'm sorry about this cause I know I seem to keep asking questions about this and I may just be in the process of downloading the solution but...
I got the leviathan working with STL - Origins but now I'm working on the music. I've got all the STL vps in a MOD folder and everythings working except the music.
I have the fsport_music.vp with the music.tbl in it but I didnt get the warble_fs1.vp, yet. Instead I extracted the music folder from the FS1 freespace.vp and dumped it into the STL folder. But still no music.
It should read the wav files, right? But I opened up the first mission in fred2 open and theres no music selected. I've just checked the STL (not origins) release thread and someone mentioned the music being cool.
I want that. Space is too empty without the music.

try play it with out the music.tbl file it works for me:)

Damn, and here was me thinking that this was the release of some super campaign.
-
Sorry for misleading you Fergus.
And thanks thats fixed now, so I've finally got the full STL.
Somehow a retail music table got into my data folder. Somehow...

Uh...
"Well, I guess my work here is done."
"What? But you didn't do anything!"
"Oh, didn't I?"
*beams up*

Well, thread has served its purpose. Kara?

True but I was going to point out that the music.tbl file Rand al'Thor had in his data folder was probably there to prevent crashes caused by mv_music.vp or zPack.vp.
A better solution would have been to move the FS1Port music vp file into STL folder.
The best solution is to have a folder for FSPort. A seperate folder for STL and typing -mod STL, FS1Port (or the names you used) as the last thing in the command lines box :D

Ooooh. Sweet I didnt know you could do a double MOD folder combo. thing.
Yeah the one in the data/tables was just a retail or scp problem fix table but I'm using a STL + bits n pieces of the port MOD folder at the mo so I guess that was just overwriting the needed vp files.
"The cosmic ballad continues..."
"Eh, does anyone wanna swap seats?"
Ah, the Simpsons. Eases the pain. Except those stinking new episodes. Burn them all. Sullying a great show.

You and just about every other member on the forum :) Pity as it's a really useful function for campaigns like this one. You're not just limited to only two mods either.

Hmmm, thing is that I just tried it and it crashed out with a could not read model error when I tried to select the Athena in the tech DB.
Ah, I aint pushed I might try some more later but I was plenty happy with how it was working.

No problem. Do whatever works for you :)
