So I'm now consistantly posting in the future by roughly two and a half minutes and I am limited to one post every 3 minutes because of the double-post filter. I was in the past the other day by a little more. So my question is this: what on earth is wrong with the forum clock? I don't know whether to ask Goober or an0n about this one, but it's getting really irritating.
Yes, I realize the irony of the guy with the "last edited in 2027" bit in his sig complaining about time distortions on the board. No, they are not related.

They've spread the forum across the entire dynamic cluster (dynamic4,5,6 etc) for reliability(?), but the times on each machine are out of synch.

Change from dynamicx to dynamic4 in the address bar.

hasn't setekh already answered this a few threads ago?

or how about disable flood control, so that at the very least, you can post?

I wasn't aware that this had come up before, so my bad if it's been brought up in the past. But I'm already on dynamic4.

it happened a few weeks ago, but at that time, it was off by almost 2 hours, and prevented raa and someone else from posting for a LONG time...

Yeah, i had to wait 45 minutes to reply to someone slanderring me. :p
-
I just had to wait 10 minutes...

Yeah Strat, we're spread across several servers - it's a stop measure to counteract the likelihood of a dynamic server going down (likelihood: high).

The work of an admin is just as much repetitive as it is imaginative. :)
