I screwed up the UV mapping badly on this one and couldn't recover it to a good state without restarting from scratch.  (look at the sides in particular - they're horrible - also the docking clamp).  It's a nice-ish model, maybe someone can get something out of it.

Needs; labels (on layers)
possibly more glows on the map
another layer of fine grain scratches on the panel ages (this takes ages)
probably more surface detailing
maybe model in a cockpit.

(This is really only the base hull map, BTW. I'm not 100% happy with that either)

PSD document included, hence the 13-and a bit meg size (includes all the max files and templete BMP... if you really want to restart from scratch, then fix the UV).  I'll be deleting this by Wednesday to clear space.

Ok. I like it. And the mapping isn't all that bad.

You make excellent models and textures. But the testures stand out as being so different than anything I've ever seen before.

ive had that happen before with the camnpaign im making, taking me more time than i anticipated to finish it and im still on the 2nd mission.

Cool... looks a lot like what I had in mind for my dropship concept to accompany my Marine Frigate.  Would you mind if I poked at it a little?

I've got myself a copy for my own files so maybe I'll have a poke at this once I'm a bit better with MAX (don't hold your breath for that though!).
