If I have a map named windowlargea.pxc (and windowlargeb.pcx, windowlargec.pcx for lower detail), do I have to make a glowmap windowlarge-glow.pcx that will work for all 3 details (a, b & c), or do I have to make a glowmpa for each specific detail?

Each specific detail level. The game makes no assumptions concerning texture names.
