I wish my PS2 didn't crap out on me, and give me a read failure for any disk other than a PS1 disk... :(

Like I said, if I had a working PS2, I'd get it in a heartbeat.  It dies hortly after I got GT3 A-spec... (Or was it GTA-3 Vice city?) (One of the two killed it.)

It was GTA3 that killed it.  Damn Rockstar and their LivePacket disc reading system!  They fried the laser, the bastards!  Damn them all to hell!!

EDIT:  Raa, is your PS2 a victim of Disc Read Error?  If so, and it hasnt been opened/tampered with, Sony of America has no choice than to fix it...  For free!  Oh, how I LOVE class action lawsuits!  But then again, I know only about SCEA doing this.  SCEE might not even touch it, if you live in europe.

It is a disc read error, but the sticker on the unit peeled, and says void. There's no way that Sony will fix it for me.
