Hi, FS2 had a dedicated server ability does SCP have the same ability and if so where can i get the file please
-
You can run an FSO standalone by running the SCP launcher and ticking Features>>List Type>>Multi>-Standalone.
Kazan said that he never touched the standalone feature when he was writing the code for FSnetD so I've got no idea how stable it is.
-
pretty unstable.... but I think the old engine build's standalone server is more stable... not sure though.
-
shame got some credit with a game server compnay :) was thinking of running a fs2 SCP server
-
3.6.5 crashes every time, no matter who you are.
There are builds out there that work (supposedly)...
-
sometime i will have to curl up around the debugger with the standalone
-
I've been running one today with tom's OEB 1.3.6 and so far it seems pretty stable.
Cheers!

egh.. IIRC most of the crashes were just annoying little things, i'll probably make my tasks for this week
A) debugging standalone
B) FS2netD 2.x
