Coolness.
-
There are Trek fans in Tel-Aviv?? Wow, the city doesn't utterly suck after all. :p

lol sandy
-
hey how much do those g3 things cost?
I've got a 'thing' I'm planning on doing with my car and one of those would utterly rule.
-
you just need sprint phone service with PCS vision (vision costs extra $15/month) and one of the phones good enough to use it (i have a Samsung A660/VI660)
then the $20 link cable and $40 software from futuredial
usage does not count against your minutes - connection speed fluxes between slow dsl and fast 56k dependant on tower usage
-
neat. more trek.
*needs to get cable or HS internet to start watching it*
-
50,000$, eh? well, they just need to raise about twenty times as much and they'll have enough money to make one episode.
-
Actually, they have $3,055,000 :D
Three fans donated a total of $3,000,000 last week. :D

Whoopie Goldberg has got to be pretty rich..... :drevil:
-
steven hawking is a star trek fan, right? he's got to have quite a bit of money.
-
We know who it really was. It was William Shatner, trying to take over the Trek franchise again...
-
Don't. Be. Disrespectin'. The. Shat.
-
What, will he attack me with his mighty spoken world album? :p
Everyone knows Spock and Bones were the better characters on TOS.
-
Scotty rule over all other TOS characters.
Shatner has enjoyed significantly more success post-trek than any of the others though.
-
You do know Kazan that Admiral Forest was killed.
Well except for the evil Captain Forest! *cue ominous mirror universe music*
-
Goatees! :drevil:

I presume its in reference to how Archer contacts Forrest whenever there's a change of plans.
Although now its Admiral Gardner but thats beside the point :D
-
and to how forrest is dead, and enterprise is dead
but enterprise may not be dead
-
Multiple meanings in every sentence.
-
I like that That, that that That, that that That that came late brought, prefers. :D

I agree with your asessment of Scotty, but only if you're referring to him from the movies on.
-
NO!
Scotty > *
-
The character Scotty in the television show was quite plainly underdeveloped, and only came into his own in the movies.
-
I wouldn't say that.
He had a whole episode dedicated to him, which is more than Sulu, Chekhov and Uhura can claim.
-
Fulfilling our Scottish sci-fi actor needs...the doctor fellow on SG: Atlantis is a riot. Glad to see him and some of the other nationalities on the show.
-
So uh... does this mean Enterprise is comming back?

Uhura got to kiss a white man on television, I'd say that's creditable..
-
to qualify vyper's statement so that it doesn't sound racist: it was the first interracial kiss ever on american television
-
and what's more, she had to kiss Shatner.
