Title: Any development on thruster effects ?

Are there any recent development/innovations on Fighter/Capship
thruster effects ? Don't get me wrong, current effects are outstanding and really massive improvement over the old retail-ones.

Still, it's been little quiet in thruster-development for some time. I understand that that the current ones are still very very nice looking, and they would require only little bugfixing there and here.

And now, (please hold your laughs) last and least.
How can I post screenies ?
Any tips and hints on good quality screenshots.

not much point fixing something that isn't broken, though - I'm not sure there's any way you could tangibly improve the current effect.  Unless you have a suggestion / request, of course.

You could just use the old ones from the 3.5.5 mediaVP, which were better. Besides, the differences between Terran, Vasudan, and Shivan thrusters are WAY too pronounced. The retail version makes it obvious that they're supposed to be similar. And it makes sense--most Shivan technologies in FS2 are simply more powerful or effective versions of Terran and Vasudan technologies.

Can we please make it that thrusters shut off when a ship decelerates? And when it hits its max speed?

Right, Deepblue. When fighter or capship remains still, its thrusters remain completely frozen. I don't know much about coding, but what about a feature that would automatically add more engine "flames" as the more ship accelerates. And again when the ship deccelerates, "flames would drop slowly to nothing. Sort of like analogue thrusters.

Pretty bad for an explanation, but I hope you understood....
