Hi,

im new here & i would like to ask some questions.

Q1 : When i play the campaign there is no briefing sounds & no music?

Q2 : Do i need to the any additional files to make this work?
(i d/l the single file 135 mb)

Q3 : when i play the first mission in the campaign, it says that i will fly a new ship but i get an Ulysses, How come ?

your help will be greatly helpful  :)

oh & 1 more thing, there r no voice acts when you play the mission coz i can't read the words command is telling me its too fast. y is that ?

1+3: To fix those either

Make sure you have no other mods or table files installed

Create a new pilot

2. Just the single file, and the SCP patch if you use the SCP.

4. There's no voice acting

5. There was an intro, but it wasn't released except with an early test version of the SCP patch.

First of all:

Target Locked FIRE!!!!

Exits are to your right and left, and flamethrowers are under your seat. Be careful, though, as they are sometimes filled with water, so bring your own Napalm or try to club someone with the non-working shotguns in the weapon closet. Also, be careful while wandering the ventilation shafts. If you see a large, five-limbed creature that looks really pissed, it’s probably Carl, give him your lunch and he'll hopefully go away.  If you see a big desert creature its probably Raa, give him a fish and he might leave your head alone.  In the event of an emergency, the n00bs will be the last into the escape pods, if there’s any room left. The Plasma rifles in the forward locker are released only under authorization of an Admin, [V] God, or hyperintelligent shade of the color blue. Oh, and whatever you do, don't mention the word Freespace followed by the number 3.


1st post.  Delete all of your MODs and place the Big VP in the Main Freespace 2 folder

What was supposed to happen with the EAD Centaur? The destroyer that escaped from the Sol Gate while the Reyes was blockading it.

To High Max, nopes thats my surname :) ya, i did have a girl once named Paola lolz Paolo & Paola hehe

& just a thought, how the heck that EA has more powerful weaps than the GTVA ??? coz for almost 66 years in the capella they should have more resources & more advance weaponry than the EA .. they've battled shivans many times over & with the combined technology of both species still
(just a thought hehe) in the 2nd to the last mission where the Independence battle it out with the Nemesis, the EASD has the upper hand in combat ..... EA fighters are faster .... & you'll have to help her bring down the guns on the Nemesis. at more than SIX K's in length they don't have the firepower to bring that SD down ??? ah i sure miss the days when the colossus destroyed almost half the shivan fleet until that damn satanas make a crap outta her & her crew, now thats some firepower !! :) can u gimme an insight of this ?

Which also explains why the Warlock carriers are, according to the Inferno staff, not used much ingame in R2: it begs that kind of question, or the question of why it didn't just bury the Nemesis under the two thousand or so fighters it supposedly carries.

Because of 2 reasons, it'd break the ships limit and would kill the Nemesis before it could make peace.  I wonder how long it took the EA to realise the Nemesis was ****ed and begged the GTVA for peace?

At the moment we haven't used the Warlock at all yet, I think it shows up a bit later in chapter 1. It's used less as for the most part it shadows the fleet and lets the smaller carriers go into the dangerous situations.

During the time of m14 R1, the INDs fighters were also being used to support other battles going on in the system


The Nemesis is stronger than the Warlock because its designed to take out Shivan craft. The Warlock is designed to be a carrier.

hmmmz .... gameplay balanced i know that but .... i hope in R2 there are some great SD battles like a colossus in FS2, u noe to show the power of GTVA coz in R1 it didn't show up ....  coz in my opinion it ain't right to see a 6km carrier get pounded by a SD in just a couple of mins right ? :) with their superior tech, at lease let them show their power :)

HighMax, her surname was Mercado hmmmz & bout the Latin American Country .... hmmz i dunno .. maybe ? hehe

If there is such a thing it would be an Odin Vs Nemesis battle. Though the Odin isn't as strong as the EA flagship.

Odin ? i haven't seen that yet :) hehe where can i see it ? & bout the Nemesis strong than the odin ??? why is that ? GTA+PVN=better & powerful ship right? EA=all alone in the SOL=more power than the GTVA ??

Because the battle with the Nemesis wasn't the only thing going on at that time.

Oh & i've just finshed the entire campaign (SOL (almost) & R1) wow, that's really a lot of hard work put into it :) good job guys :yes:  hmmmz i wonder when's R2 gonna be released & just a suggestion put some voice acting :D hard to fly+read at the same time hehe


one last thingy, why the heck EA attacked the GTVA ? is it just the EA wants to entire SOL for themselves ? bout the fear of being an underpower ? at lease they should give their fella terrans a big nice hug instead of just giving them tons of hot plasma & turning them into gooey terran juice .... :lol:
