Title: FS nebula background in FS2?

No idea why you would want it, but I think if you just put the pallet files from FS1 back in, it works.

or an easy way to make more;

use any 3D program that either supports noise procedural textures or volumetrics

just stick a bunch of primitives on top of each other (textured with different levels/colurs of noise) and hit render.

if you use 3dsmax http://www.blur.com/blurbeta/ ("http://www.blur.com/blurbeta/")

get dustdevil, free fairly fast volume raymarcher.

could do a few nice nebulas in that  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/wink.gif)
