Due to homestead.com's continuing incompetence (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/mad.gif), i have to move my site, or create a whole new one. I want to know if you guys can host it for me, my email is [email protected] and my website is in my sig.

HLP and Gamespy do very well on setting up hosting (after you get the e-mail from GS, that is.)

Tripod.com has kept me happy for a very long time now. (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif) I don't see why people won't use it as much as I thought they would. It seems like the closest thing to the easiest for now.

Unfortunately right now, we have quite a bit of hosted FS content. This is great, as it gives better exposure and support to projects that can really use it. There is a downside, though - with all this content, and in addition the support of at least an entirely new game on our hands, it's easy to get bogged down in material. Management is becoming difficult, and keeping track of everything is, unfortunately, not as easy as we would have hoped for. However, once a few projects are completed and through the pipeline, we will again have more space for hosted projects. If you can suffice with a free host like Tripod, Geocities, Homestead or Vidavision, then please do, and if you'll be patient for a little while, we'll get back to you. Who did? I never e-mailed gamespy. It's just the e-mail they were supposed to send me after Setekh set up access for me took around a month to arrive.

I recommend to everyone who is looking for a free webhost to go to www.f2s.com ("http://www.f2s.com") and sign up there, that is where freespace 2 sector has thier site. they have pretty stable servers and you get a good domain name for example: www.freespace2.f2s.com ("http://www.freespace2.f2s.com")

Ahem freespace sector has a bit of luck there...
Frankly... my site there isn't very stable and happens to be quite slow at times.
