Title: Running my FRED Mission

Hello all. I made a kick-ass FRED mission, but every time I choose to run it off of the Mission Simulator, it always immediately, kicks me off and says 'file could not be opened'!!!!

The error checker on FRED says that the mission is clean, so why won't it work?

Try re-saving it with a different filename? I think I had this problem once, years ago. Unfortunately, I couldn't fix it, and had to start again.

Could you post the mission? I could have a look if you want...

You have probably saved it in FSO forma and tried to open it with retail.  Try opening it with FS0
