We are in need of modeler over at the Stargate Sg-1 mod, Experience isn't a requirement but it would be great. The mod is at the point were models are essental. Just post below or PM me.

Just do what DG did: Steal models from other total-conversion projects for other games. Only, be more careful not to get caught.

JC4JC is modelling AFAIK. But doing a TC with very few staff is a daunting task even if you are able to model.
I've never been able to understand why this mod gets so little support in comparison with the other TC's.

Ok what is AFAIK. And I concer with karajorma. I can model I just don't have the time to do the high detail models. I created a model for the x-302, x-303, Death glider, and Hat'ak/Cheops, but they are more of concept instead of TC material. I did however create most of the missiles for the Tau'ri. I even created a Black Hole torpedo and Singularity missile for the Asgard.
I need more experienced modelers than me.
Also I don't believe in taking models from other TC's. Most of the ones out there are to low poly for FS2(100). and some of the realy good models are to high poly (100m+++++). I have no intentions of taking total short cuts. We will do it the proper way- Find modelers with a love of FS2 and Stargate.

Mr Monkey get your facts straight. It was a misunderstanding over ONE model. I was trying to get in contact for over a year with the real author of the SAAB models we wanted to use for the mod (he had nothing to do with the HW team at all, in fact he was an ARMADA modler) but from the way certain individuals sounded all the models belonged to THEM , FALSE. Long story short when I found a way to get ahold of him (Borg142) I had permission the NEXT DAY. Regardless, that incident soured DG from modding for nearly a year. Lack of tackt and maturity on the part of those who basicly pissed in our backyard wasnot taken well and reminds me of your attitude. What you suggested is not only morally wrong but it shows a definate lack of character...

JC, I was about to contact Merung(?) at game forums, he made the models for Armada I posted months ago if you needed them as "referance", but if you're that strapped for models I wouldn't mind asking him officially on behalf of your mod. However as I was about to post I read your feeling about other projects... If you change your mind about cross-platforms let me know (I for one believe in it and have a great 3 way relationship between FS2, HW2 and SFC teams for Robotech, as I feel it makes us all stronger and spreads the enjoyment of our project genre). I didn't want this to turn into a war. That is the last thing the commnity needs right now.
Getter Robo G, Thanks for the offer and your supporting words I'll keep them in mind. I'm not totally against it is just that the mod has relyed of models created by the people involved. I just don't like the idea of taking shortcuts that could later on lead to trouble. As for the Armada 1 models I saw them and only about two or three would have been useful. I'll think about it and confer with the team.

Also do you have some models I can look at for refrence of your work.

Ok, not quite on the tpoic, but I must admit, I agree with Getter here about unregistered posting, it almost feels like this monkey character has been hanging around since the whole AAB incident, waiting for his chance to pout....
That said, I can't help at the moment, sorry, but good luck with finding people :)
