Title: to all those who might doubt my FS mod for RF

bow down before me (//"http://members.aol.com/Bobboau/Headz.zip")


that should be my Vasudan model in FS2 pof format (I figured everyone here would have the veiwer for it). I'm gona have to improve the textures a bit and I have no experience with animation what so ever let alone IK skelital deformations so I'll probly try to get someone else to do it. if anyone sees any anitomical errors I made please tell me. I do also have a Shivan, but he isn't in such good shape.

I could probably bring it down to reasonable size if I knocked off the legs. But the whole point is sort of lost there...

I have a vertion of the cob with a skelital system in place, for those whom may wish to try animating, or for thouse who may want to make this into other games.

Not to be a pessimist but theres a lot of extra work required to get a non standard biped into Quake or any FPS. The entire range of animations would require a rehash as would any of the weapon views where you see the arms of your character holding the gun.
Not to mention the fact that if it is put in a game with accurate height it'd make an awfully big target.

I think this could be treated as a standard biped, not the shivan, that is another story,
but this is my goal

I'm just glad you can have quatropeds and more in RF. I guess the Shivans have five legs, and I don't know what peds they are   (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/biggrin.gif)

To knock down the polys:

Cut off the head, add some blood to the heads textures and viola. BFred's in the eyes and Flaks in the nostrils.  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/biggrin.gif)
