I began modeling a cruiser of some sort a while ago. This is how far I've managed to come so far.

You use Cinema 4D.
Perhaps you could tell me how the hell to get my texturing to stay put when I export it to .3ds?
That aside though, this looks vaguely Shivan, but it's too flat on the other hand...

I'm not sure about the texturing and exporting...
I vaguely remember that some years ago when I tried to model an island for the FS2 it screwed up the normals or something like that when exporting and I used DeepExplorer to correct things up... but as I said I'm not 100% sure though.
I rarely export anything
Actually it's meant to be an human cruiser ^^;

High Five Gortef!
C4D rules, but I use it the same way a newb would use it...lots of primatives...I hardly do poly-work...too time consuming...

*High Fives*
You should start working with poly-work ^^
After a while it's much more fun and interesting than just adding more and more primitives. Sure it's time consuming I won't deny it
But extrude, knife and bridge can make miracles :p
