Title: Watch your ship....
Post by: QXMX on June 21, 2001, 10:35:00 pm
Even though I'm having loads of problems with it, here's the model for a new mine.  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/cool.gif)

I really like this design. Seems right for a mine. Nice texture job, too; just a couple of questions  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif) Polycount, and size? Like, put it next to a Loki or something.  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)

Oh, and when's this baby gonna be up for download?  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/biggrin.gif)

Poly count is still pretty high, around 300.  The magnetic heads are designed to fly towards the nearest ship of cruiser size or larger.  I was shooting for about 20 to 30 meters in total length.  I'm still trying to work all the bugs out and get a table entry stamped out for it, so it'll be downloadable within the next few days hopefully   (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)
