Title: Remember when games used to be fun?
Post by: Rictor on April 12, 2005, 09:15:37 pm
Well, those days are back.

Step 1. Get the Psychonauts demo here (//"http://bluesnews.com/cgi-bin/board.pl?action=viewthread&threadid=56104"), or here (//"http://www.filerush.com/download.php?target=PsychonautsDemoInstaller.exe") for BitTorrent users.
Step 2. Play it
Step 3. Die Happy

Kill is such a strong word. I prefer "cause premature cessation of certain bodily activites."

But in a nutshell, yes.

It might be worth noting, for those of us not lucky enough to have been blessed with a video card with Pixel Shader capability, that this requires said capability.

Libby no play...:(

This looks like one of those dumb games. I try to avoid dumb games, only because they're just not for me.

Have you ever heard of Monkey Island? What about Grim Fandago? Or maybe Day of the Tentacle?
Same guy: Tim Schaefer. This is his next game.

With that in mind, I don't think the word "dumb" belongs anywhere near Psychonauts.

Lib: too bad, it's really quite fun. Uhhm...and by that I mean it sucks. You're lucky not to have to play it.....yeah.

Or you could just...I don't know, click the link maybe? It's a long shot, but I have a hunch it might work.

I've always wanted to get Grim Fandango. I remember the demo and loved the style of the entire thing.

I have no use for that genre of goofy games. I play games to slaughter with realism.

Just finished the demo. It's pretty awesome, I'll definitely be buying this when it's released.

I played Republic Commando - killer game,m if rather short

then I played Freedom Force vs. 3rd Reich - fun, alltough not much has changed sine the first part

Now I'm playing Star Wolves - the game is awensome. I just lost two days playing it and I still am not done.
Oh..that Hatesputh-look-a-like ship? It has nothing to do with it - in game it's as big as a FS2 cruiser...
