spring + Singh + Singh's mom = Earthquakes with every sneeze and total war declared on pollen, dust and the like.

Singh + Spring + aircon-less office in the depths of the building = Irritated Singh on hte verge of explosion throwing loud sneezes everywhere and with a shirt full of sweat.

I'm always restless.

Except from when I'm asleep. But currently yes, in my usual restless state.

I dunno. I have much to do, but I don't particualrly want to do it.

Of course, I live in Scotland, where spring is pretty much equal to winter anyways.............

I love summer and winter, and hate spring and fall.
Answer to your question: Yes.

It's my birthday in Spring, but I don't generally feel 'restless' except during Summer when we have three months of holidays... and even then I'll fill up my time sufficiently that I never get restless. Rest-less, though, that's another matter...

Yeah springtime brings the worst out in me.  Its made much worse by exams...but yes, general restlessness on all accounts.  Most people don't pay as much attention to it but once someone pointed it out...I understood.  Clear as crystal.

I feel ready to explode with energy. It's been a long, cold, nightmarish winter, so when the crocuses start to bloom and the birds come out and start chirping, I feel like I'm standing at the threshold of the Elysian Fields, especially since I'm in my last quarter of high school.

Well, it's mainly hormones, it's about this time young males of all types go out and do their species own version of dressing up in Goth gear and pretending to be mysterious and dark, possibly with Ninja ancestors ;)

I suppose whether you believe in evolution or creation, you have to admit that the Human Brain is a incredible machine, but it's still being carried around by a body made the same way as an animals, with all the built in 'cycles' and chemical triggers etc, that's why self-control is important ;)

If you were referring to my post, uhhh, the Elysian Fields are a happy place where the sun is always shining....

Just to make this post more constructive: Self-control is important, but it is equally important for there to be outlets in which people can shed all self-control for a period of time. Only through the periodic celebration of irrationality can rationality be maintained for the rest of the time.

Well, being cynical, I would say that's what we invented War for ;)

Seriously though, you are right, complete obedience is as stifling as complete Anarchy is self destructive. We do need an outlet, that's what spring is all about. It's the season for doing really stupid things to impress people. Sports were invented, basically, to allow young males to impress girls and compete against each other without, where possible, it turning into a punch-up ;) It still provides the same function, with about the same level of success against punch-ups ;)

I'm told by reliable sources that its just as bad for the females as it is for the males.  Which is ..uhh...maybe a good thing I guess.

Trouble with our messed up hyperpaced world is that we ignore these cycles far too often.  Being aware of them doesn't really help much...just in an academic sense.

But I wanna impress other young males too!:( I'm not restless during spring, I love spring; all those flowers blooming and the sun shining gives me an immense sense of tranquility. And makes me horny as well.

Everything ever invented by man in all of history was done to impress girls.

Funny thing is, if there were a bunch of girls having a conversation, they'd be saying how hard it is to find sincere boyfriends, who don't just want a shag. (Though of course, it is true that there are girls who 'just want a shag' as well - no harm in that).

The mistake most people make most often here is judging by their opinion of themselves, not the other person's opinion of them ;)

Honestly, I'm just feeling sort of apathetic at the moment. Partially because I'm just waiting for the school year to end, as it doesn't really matter anymore as I've already been accepted to college, and the only classes that really matter are Calculus and College English, and those are only important since they'll get me out of basic classes next year.

Maybe because it is rather hard to get someone to tell you the truth about his opinion of you....
