you should try doing the shading with the funny dots (don't know what that's called though...) instead of with color.

Pointillism.

At least, if you do the dots yourself, if you take an image and then brake it up into RGB dots, thats something else, IIRC.

And Carl: Think you can do that kind of engine trail for the cell mod?

Carl, can you PM me with the details/things i need to do something like the above, i could make use of that a LOT.. also, whoever's making the cel textures for those ships, could you contact KT or if you're already in his employ, ask him about various ships that you could retexture in assosiation with his project.. why?.. 'cuz I could make use of 'em..

Ooh, is the cell mod going to look something like this? I like your choice of onomatopoeia Carl, much better than the ubiquitous "zap" or "boom" or 20 other generic effects. :yes:
