Are there any Vietnam-era flight sims (either games or mods) existing? At least I've never heard of any, but still!
-
Chuck Yeager's Air Combat.
You get F4 and Mig21 to fly plus a few other aircraft to fight with.
Includes WW2 and Korea planes too.
Old but good.
-
Thanks, I'd like to try that out, but I highly doubt it works on XP :(
-
Didn't BF: Vietnam do something like that?
Maybe I'm confusing it with something else.
-
Checked, it works fine...
I think it can be found at HOTU
-
I checked HOTU, they didn't have it available. But, I'll try to acquire it some other way.
-
could someone send me the link to HOTU please

Strike Fighters: Project One with all the latest patches is supposadly pretty good :)

Flight of the Intruder comes to my mind. Don't know if it's available anywhere. It's old enough for that, though.
-
ive been waiting for one of theese. something that includes choppers.
-
Vietnam era choppers did not excel in survivability as they were unarmored...
A few good hits or a SA7 could bring them down very easily...
-
Battlefield Vietnam let you fly stuff around.
-
Although its version of napalm sucked and it was generally very basic...
-
A Skyraider sim would be good - it was one of the most amazing prop aircraft of that time.
-
 Agreed. The A-1 is definately my favorite prop-plane of all times.
-
I've seen a picture where it flew all the way back to base with only half a wing (like that one F-15 :D).
The Skyraider was like the bastard child of a B-17 and a tank.
