Title: Reciprocity, and TBP

I was wondering if any one had the nightmare fighters/ships. (kinda look like a cross between Shadow (Babylon 5) and Shivan ships. I think its from Reciprocity, but I am not sure, the .vp file for it had a pic of a Nightmare ship though.

Also, I am using VPView_32_30, and I cannot open the vp file from TBP third release in FS open. I dont think its b/c its in FS open, as I can load other vp files. Is there a limit on how large a vp this program can open (the vp file in question is 606,388KB to be precise)

I get this too.  Do a seach for a utility called QuickVP.  I can open the VP no problem with this.

Does this mean that the nightmare stuff is no longer public? (at least until whomever aldo gave it to releases it)

The link for quickvp on hardlight forums is dead, for me anyways...

Nope. Aldo's Reci Nightmare models weren't ever made public - they were given to another campaign. So far the people who have them haven't felt inclined to mention the fact publically, but I'm sure evenetually they'll get around to it.

There have been...er... '2' generations of Nightmare ships.  

The first set is available somewhere but uses pretty shoddy maps I got off a site somewhere and just recoloured.  The second set used all new maps, were a bit better designed, but were never 100% finished.  Someone has exclusive dibs on them - I can't actually remember who - but they were never released anyways.

Thanks, I remember dling four nightmare ships about 2yrs ago (hard to believe it has been that long) and apparently i either deleted them (which is very unlike me) or they were on the HD that crashed last year.
I dont make ships (yet) so I cant really say wether they were shoddy or not, they looked pretty good to me, and had their own weapons and missiles (as opposed to using original fs2 weapons)

Also if any one has a vp viewer/extracter/builder i would love to know, all the links i have found are either dead or (for VP mage 8) dont dl anything, just are linked the their own page....

Thank you so much for that link.
They not be of the same level of graphics that the more recent models are, but i think they have a certain uniquiness about them.

So someone out there has the more recent (i.e. better) ones. I'll be looking forward to those being released.
