Nah, you just have to shoot the instructor exactly 13 times with a Subach.

Try it out sometime. :p

doesn't Admiral Petrarch give some goofy speech when you become Admiral, like "you should get out more" or something along those lines...

Congratulations. You have earned your place in the highest echelon of allied leadership. Your character, courage, and genius are an inspiration to us all. On behalf of the GTVA Security Council and General Assembly, I hereby confer upon you the prestigious rank of Admiral. Now go read a book.

If you check the .vp's all of the voice actors with ranks (Samsa, Loukakis, etc. etc.) have recorded that speech.

The thing that differs is their pronounciation of the "Go read a book" part, which is devastatingly humorous the way some of them did it.

here's an easy way to get to admiral: FRED a mission where 2 ships are 5000000, (any higher and they turn to negative), make the mission a campaign, destroy 'em, jump out, and now you have to read a book. :D

Cheaters a good gamer make not.

Besides, what's the point of getting to admiral if all you did was blow up two ships?

Bull****.

If you did, you wouldn't be complaining about the AI stealing your kills on the STV mission.

Not when you only have 4 kills at the end.

Regardless, back to the subject at hand, or thread lockage ensues.

Gohan never made it to the PXO ranking list though, I've never wanted to cheat..... effectively (naturally all you'd have to do is have two people for it to save), although it was nice to know how :nervous:

Actually, you won the second time, when we were in the plain view mission. In the Neb, I pwned you. ;)

Empty mission with two TC's both worth some insane millions of points.

You just need to know how to "do it" to get it to save (not really that big of a secret, everyone should know how by now).

It was 2 vs 1, me being the one. I barely lost the first one and washed ya'll out on the second one.

Actually it's usually the one that's at the advantage, unless the two vet's are fighting a n00b.

More kills in shorter period (the one has more targets)= win with the points.

I'd always feel sleazy when I had to fight a Squad War as a 1v2 because someone didn't show up on my team.
