Ph33r my new gfx power!!

Came with X2: The threat, and Commandos 3. Rather poor, the game bundle. But the card is excellent, and it has extreme overclocking capabilities. I could have gotten the 6800GT, or the Ultra, but those are way too expensive. They cost the same an entire mid-range PC does.

Pretty good card. I've got it's bigger bro, an XFX 6800GT. Good card, good luck unlocking the pipes.

So why didn't you get the 6600GT? I would assume it has just as much power, only slightly slower. It is after all the same card... unofficially.

OC and unlocking potential, I'd imagine. A 6600gt and 6800NU perform similarly, but the 6800 has good OC potential, and also the potential to unlock the extra 4 pipelines and essentially turn it into a 6800GT. 6800 Ultra speeds are probably out of the question though.
The real question may be "why this and not an x800XL? AGP?"

I remember the days when I chased after awesome graphics cards...
Now I'm on a laptop. ;)

I haven´t taken my laptop out of the case in months.
:p
So why didn't you get the 6600GT?
Because is costs almost twice the 6800 over here. My card costed about 289 euros, the GT costs 448 euros. It´s a too big a diference for such smaller gain.
And not an X800 because i don´t buy ATI. I´m a nVidia man, all the way.

Quite nice, even though I think you confused the 6600GT and 6800GT in your last post. I'm going to be picking up the MSI 6800GT in a few days for the computer I'm building, and from what I've seen, I'd say we're both going to be very happy with our cards.

Yeah, my mistake. I thought it was the 6800GT.
