Here's a proposal to FRED Academy juniors out there. :)

How about you try to hone your skills in updating the missions included with the mission pack 1. The pack includes only single missions (both single-player and multi-player) from R1 and R2. The staff fredders really do not have the time to give those missions the love they badly need.

Maybe you've got the skills to make decent missions of your own, but your true mettle will be tested only when you try to figure out what the original fredder was thinking about years ago. :D

Well I believe Primus is between missions at the moment. If he wants to take this up I'll definately playtest for him.

Actually I'll playtest for anyone who takes it on :)

Would we need to redownload the old Core files to get at the old missions?  Or is there some horrendously obvious thread that I've missed despite my searches.

I think I played few of missions from the pack when it and R3 came out, so no need to download old cores.
