hi its ben now 2 years i fail in love of this game i downloaded few campagn and keep playing it agan and again in solo mode i wanted know if there is still few squadron Multy player if the mode Mutlyplayer still exist

i did all this but igot few diferent error msg and its dont work i cant play (

What error message? We need all the info you can give us if we are to help.

I've heard that Tom's Old Build doesn't work with multiplayer any more so maybe you should go to the SCP forum's recent builds subforum and grab one of the newer builds from there.

Toms build dosent suppor MP? Wherd u hear that?

i got msg saying flaied to read flag file and i got a other one wich say
error parsing rank
call stack:

i just did it and here  cois the error msg:
couldnt load animation cursor for the mouse pointer

Sounds like the error you get when you're missing a vp file to me. Check your main Freespace 2 folder and tell me if you have the following files.

# root_fs2.vp
# sparky_fs2.vp
# sparky_hi_fs2.vp
# stu_fs2.vp
# tango1_fs2.vp
# tango2_fs2.vp
# tango3_fs2.vp
# smarty_fs2.vp
# warble_fs2.vp

i finished it already 3x and the inferno campagn also i want taste  the MP cause i get bored to do again and agian same mission :) i so love that game

I think so. You must have deleted the VP files or something. The game can't run without them even if you use FS2_Open.

uhhhhh.... edit that or something, since i had a hard time understanding what you just said.

(i believe you said "it seems to work for now, but i have a small problem: no games or servers appear in the listing. is this normal?")

People do play multiplayer but it's sometimes tricky to be online at the same time as the people who do.

I've always tended to head over to game-warden's (www.game-warden.com/forums) multiplayer forum and ask if anyone fancies a game.
