:wtf: That guy's selling the car that previously belonged to Ratzinger/Benedict. Current bidding : ~41.000€, 6 days left. For an ordinary VW Golf. :wtf:

Is that a lot of money?
Me speak no German. :p

The Euro and the Dollar had similar values at one point. Although with the dollar so low at the moment who knows what it's worth now.

41'000 € = 52'877.7 $

Except that Ratzinger hasn't lived in Germany for something like 20 years, and probably hasn't driven humself for even longer.....

I also read that he doesn't even have driving license. Probably had a driver for quite some time. However - the scans supplied with the auction are from official documents, and it's no fake.

Yeah, but with a car like that it would supposedly be immune from all harm. That, or I want my money back.

His middle name is Kardinal? :wtf:
-
I was hopin' it might be one of those funky converted Range Rovers......

No, that would be his title. The word "Cardinal" is generally placed between the first and last names. :p

It just seems strange for an official document...
