Title: Random Background Question

Are the nebulas and other backgrounds the same for FS2 as they are in FS1, or at least very similar?

I know FS1 missions occurred in these two systems, and in addition to being canon-friendly with my current campaign, it also saves me the trouble of building backgrounds from scratch. Which is good, because I suck at backgrounds.

FS1 used a totally different system to lay out its backgrounds.  More akin to those in Homeworld than to the ones in FS2.  You may ask the Port staff if you can lift the backgrounds from their missions, but the ones in FS1 missions themselves will be quite useless.

Ah well, I'm off to first check the Port VP isn't using a special table for that, then if that's true, off to the Port forums.
