What did you's think of it? i thought it was damn good episode, like the way the dalek fights! Excellent special effects, The only thing i didn't like was the end part you totally felt sorry for the dalek, i just hope that there back to there evil selfs for eps 12 & 13

(Possible spoilers ahead:)

I also enjoyed the episode... although it rather added an edge of humanity to the Daleks that contradicted what the Doctor was saying at its start about them only having one emotion left (hate) and the desire to kill anything that wasn't a Dalek.

Special effects were very nice, with a good touch where the Dalek took out an entire force of humans with the aid of the fire sprinklers.

One thing I found rather curious (and this may have been explained in previous Who episodes or books etc.) is that the Daleks / Time Lords wiped eachother out. Yet by their very definition if there are even two Time Lords around (and presumably Daleks can time travel as well) then they could go back in time and save eachother from whatever fate hit them. All it would take is one to survive an attack and he could undo anything that happened before. A rather messy business, a time war, I'd imagine. But curious that they all got wiped out with the exception of that Dalek and the Doctor.

Ah well.

Yeah the Daleks can time travel, i think theres was another Dalek survivor that maybe does that because it has been comfirmed that the Daleks will be back for the season finale and they are rumored to have a new look, wonder if old Davros will return.

Thing is that the Dalek realised that and hated itself so much for it that it wanted to die.

Most other shows would have tried to redeem the dalek somehow. I loved the way that they didn't here.

Someone should point out that this is a Doctor Who thread for the Americans etc who haven't seen or heard of the show (poor fools that they are) :D
