Play it on easy or medium for best results. You WILL need the SCP patch to play, along with the SCP itself.
Setting (since it isn't explained too thoroughly in the briefing) is one day after the surrender of the Nemesis and the EA. There are a number of EA forces that have resisted the cease-fire, and are gathering in isolated rally points in order to strike at the GTVA. seeing as the number of GTVA in the system is small alreeady, and that it will be several more days before th bulk of the invasion force arrives, these swells of resistance need to be quelled quickly.

*is surprised nobody has commented yet*
its a rather good mission. there's a few spelling mistakes and lack of music, but i don't really mind.
-
Cool.
Will check it out when I next get the chance. Though I really should finish the campaign first... :p
-
there was lack of music? :wtf:
it was last modified "Tuesday, April 19, 2005, 20:26:53 PM", and i PM'ed the link to Woo at " 04-19-2005 08:46 PM"...
It has revelation listed in FRED too...
*looks at uploaded source*
Err... Its there :nervous: don't know whats up with it though... Ah well... :p
-
Well the version you sent me had music...
-
its in the file, so it should have had it... i redownloaded it last night, and it worked... oh well :p
-
Might as well release mine as well.
Sorry for the thread hijack, Hippo :p
Setting: You are an EA pilot just sent out to the front lines; more specifically, Verdun installation at Ross 128. You're orders are to hold against a possible impending GTVA invasion of the system. The invasion arrives; but despite being heralded by one, it is hardly Terran in nature at all.
Note: this isn't R1 canon at all, as I went out on a limb creating it. Hope you enjoy it :)

Excellent story for the mission and the in game set up is just marvelous. Large scale battle nice initial numbers etc.
THIS IS NOT A CRITIQUE JUST AN "OPINION"
I must say however, much like the Sigh mission, it just seems that the numbers of enemy vs friendly is really slanted for the enemy. I will say that I am not the best pilot etc., but the numbers just seem just a bit high. In both missions I found myself the only one left fighting wave after wave of enemy. No friendly waves to support the initial guys and all you can do is watch as one by one the friendlies die leaving just you alone.
A couple of friendly waves would go a long way in making it more balanced IMHO.

Glad you liked it :)

Point noted and will be incorporated in future missions. Thanks :)
