Title: Fred 2 & ATi 5.13 drivers

i have just upgraded my ATI Radeon 9500 drivers to 5.13 and now no version of SCP fred 2 will work, i keep getting

Error: Current GL Version of 1.0 is less than required version of 1.2
Switch video modes or update drivers

is this a known problem? i tried looking for this in the forum but couldn't find it.

i have a
Athlon 2600
winXP service pack 2
512DDR MB
100GB hard disk
ATi Radeon 9500
if that helps.
