I'm trying to make a custom hi-res planet for something I'm working on. I need a few, but I'm starting with a gas giant (modified image of Saturn). My problem comes when I'm making the alpha map for it. I just can't seem to get a mask or selection that fits it right (I'm using Paint Shop Pro 8).
Anybody know of a good strategy? I'll post the pic if anybody wants to see it.
