Revenge of the Sith is up for download over bittorrent and has been for about 24 hours. The wonders of the internet, eh?
-
you surprised?
-
Expected, this was.
-
I can see armies of cloned MPAA lawyers getting ready to hunt down and destroy the rebels as we speak.
-
I sense something, a feeling I've not felt since...
-
I'd rather see it in the theaters then watching it on my computer screen. Besides, I do not need be caught by the MPAA and spending a good portion of my life in prison.

im gonna go to a sunday matenee myself, im suprised our crappy theaters got it so fast this time, i had to wait an eextra month to see the aviator. but then again i could dl it anyway so i can play with my new dvd burner some more.
-
Less than or a little over 12 hours...It's a new record I believe...
-
It's also probably crap. I'm just going to see it in the theatres, where it's much more enjoyable.
-
Blurry, it will be.

CNN.com says that one of them looks like it came from the industry itself, not from a version pirated out of the theater, because it's got a timestamp on it.
-
CNN downloaded it?! Quickly! Alert the MPAA!

I mentioned that release yesterday. The quality is very good, save for the clock on the top of the screen. I´ll tell you how it was in a hour or so.

wouldn't suprise me if they did...
-
They're going to have more court cases then they can handle if that's true, methinks...
Frankly, I may not even see it.
-
I saw it in the theater! w00. :p

Hollywood is trying to avoid the fate of the music industry, which claims it has lost hundreds of millions of dollars worth of sales to illicit file-sharing networks.
Because of course, everyone that's downloaded a file on Kazaa (or whatever the popular music filesharer is these days) would have and was able to have bought the $20 CD(s).

Yay, it was not pr0n!!
Great stuff. Best SW movie ever. The opening battle was just breath taking.
I did found a couple things that bothered me:
a) Anakin´s conversion to the DS was way too fast. If he had drawed his light saber against Sidius in the scene before, why was he so quick to kneel before him?? I would understand him wanting Sidius to remain alive, but actually joining him right after he had seen him kill Windu, it was a bit iffy.
b) The Qui-gon bit. I can´t understand why they did it. It doesn´t help the story in anything. And the scene was very poorly designed. The dialogue lines could have been better, more specific.
Also, i was sorry to hear they didn´t get James Earl Jones´s voice for Vader. Although Anakin has only a couple lines of dialogue as Vader, it would be nice to hear the original voice. It was very similar, but it has not quite the same "dark" tone.
If it WAS James Earl Jones´s voice, it changed a lot. But since i didn´t see the credits, i can´t be sure who it was.
Btw, how long was the movie that you saw in theaters? Mine was 3:15 hours long. Big sucker.
All in all, i give it a 9/10 score, light years away from Episodes I and II.

What the MPAA fail to see is that most people want to see the film in the cinema. The downloads are mainly there so that warsies can argue over inconsequencial matters until they are blue in the face :D

The version i just saw was released even before the movie opened in theaters, and the fact that it has a time stamp means it came from within the industry. Maybe they should start looking in their own backyard, before they go after little people like us.
