I just can't seem to get through Mount vellenge without getting my arse kicked, and badly. The sad part is that I'm on year thirteen. I heard some people have gotten through mount vellenge and beat ALL THREE final bosses on their 9th or 10th year. IMO I'm pretty good at this game and have been cruising through the years with little problems. I have good equipment and have most of the permanent items, but I just can't seem to survive the trip through mount vellenge, much less take down the three final bosses! Once I ran through the level as fast as I could, but I was taken care of really quickly by the Meteor Parasite, even with 20 pheonix downs! I figured this was because I had no cure spells, but the monsters in Mt Vellenge always gang up on me and kill me really fast. Arrgh! Its so frusturating! :mad:
Any tips from people out there who already beat the game would be greatly appreciated.

No idea whatsoever. The only FF I've played is FF7.

Are you playing by yourself?
I found the game really needed to have at leats 2 players.

Yeah I play by myself. I think it's even harder fighting with two players cause one player is always carrying around that stupid chalice, but then again, the other player can revive you with Life spells. Three or four players is pretty much out of the question cause I dont have that many friends. Meh.
When I played with my friend on the last level it wasent too much easier. I just kept having to defend him from monsters while he held the chalice and ran in random directions.
