This one has got to be, hands down, the dumbest thing i ever heard!!!
May 24 - A political action group is applying pressure on the Kansas State Board of Education to ban any and all references to the 20th century from school textbooks, a spokesman for the group confirmed today.
"These textbooks state unequivocally that the 20th century occurred, as if that were a proven historic fact," said Gordon Lavalier, the group's leader and spokesman. "The simple truth is, the 20th century is and has always been nothing but a theory."

Sad part? I think that they'd actually do that if they could :D

So did I. Shows how cynical the world is making me become...

Well, if i missed that, it was because i was so stunned after reading that...

I think you need to enlarge it and make it flash, Phreak.

it's funny cuz it could be true.

Mel Brooks said it best: "the best way to fight evil is to laugh at them."

"Vee are zee master faith! Zeig Heil!"

You know what's sad, that it needs to be pointed out to people that it is a satire. Because in the world of today, that doesnt sound all too far-fetched.
-
Yes it does. I can distinguish between the shenanigans of fundamentalists and stuff like this, as should most other people. Seriously guys...
...though I had no idea MSNBC did satire.
-
I thought it was real, I figured a group of evolution suporters was trying to point out the stupidity of some creationists arguemnts.
-
Yeah, me too, but that's still not "genuine".
