Is not far wrong. I've worked with a lecturer from St. Andrews & (the head of computing of) Strathclyde, and both unis are investing heavily; if Callys actually cutting back, it'll be digging it's own grave (or at least for its reputation).

The irony is we're on track to pwn GU, SU and Paisley within the 2020 time scale.

Ouch.. good luck to them trying to do that. I'm not suprised everyone is upset about it. Considering everyone is trying to push the digital frontier at the moment as far as integration goes - this is a huge step backwards for them.
