Check the credits. Tie Fighter is from scifi3d.com and the ISD from Lightwave Group :)

That's pretty goddamn sweet, although the Star Destroyer is... dare I say, overgreebled.

Oh my God. Saved. Effing perfect... same screen resolution as I usually have it, too. Good job.

I think the render needs some motion-blured Tie fighters.

Somehow I think that might look pretty cool. ;)

These are the same models which were used in the X-wing Alliance cinematics.

Uh... I don't think so. At least the ISD can't possibly be the same and LucasArts would certainly not release their stuff for public use.

I'm impressed, but my Star Wars knowledge isn't that great. Didn't TIE Fighter windows have all black windows? I think the movies, at least, had them all black, and not half-covered with a grey control panel thing.

Does it matter?

For starters, I had no idea if it was all black or half-black, so knowing more about it wouldn't hurt. Also, it would matter because if there was no grey control panel, then maybe they could make their TIE fighters more abiding to the Star Wars universe, which I think they want to do.

I have even seen a Dark-blue TIE Fighter. Never heard anyone complain about it. ;)
