Title: New Games on HLP

Is HLP going to support FPS games here like Quake and Red Faction?  A section for that stuff would be interesting and add some more diversity   (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)

Nope. Gamespy doesn't allow stuff like that for some reason...  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/frown.gif)

Reason I know is my site couldn't be hosted by HLP.

To be a tad more specific, Gamespy does not permit us to host FPS games, particularly Red Faction, because there is already a site covering it, therefore we cannot repeat what they have already done. Does this make sense, or am I clouding the issue even more?  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)

Yes, basically they don't want us covering stuff covered by other sites.  We're on the edge with Freelancer, but seeing how little FL stuff there is out there atm......
