Click me for I am a 1970s pr0n flick. (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/05/31/AR2005053100655.html)
Hello, Deep Throat.
-
Yea, I saw that...wow, big important guy, huh?
-
I never understood, couldn't they have picked a codename with slightly less innuendo?
-
That was the point. They actually named him after a porno film from the 1970s.
-
I'm hoping it wasn't originally an office nickname.
-
   Oh dear lord...
-
'bout time we found out who it was.
-
The guy's 91 years old now...
-

Yeah... something like that.

[color=66ff00]The thing that got me is that there were *******s that thought what he did was bad.
I make another call for taking the safety labels off everything and letting nature take its course.

Well I should point out that he compromised an ongoing investigation. There is also some speculation as to what were his motives. It is a well know fact that he was passed up for promotion at the FBI by Nixon and must have been pissed off about that. Maeglamor, things are not as simple as they appear. People have agendas and biases and honestly, and all due respect, it is ludicrous to think that these agendas and biases would not manifest themselves in such a manner as this. So that said, anyone who thinks that this man is a patriot ought to accept the fact that Novek and Linda Trip, those that leak and informed regaurding clinton's inability to tell the truth, are in fact just as great American's, public and former public servants regaurdless of their obvious vendetas.
-
No one implied they weren't in this context.

It's not that people think he's a bad person for doing so, it's that some people have called a traitor / dishonourable American because of what he did, not why he did it. Nobody as far as I know, is saying that he is a patriot for his motives, and if they do call him that, it's to justify his overall actions against those who think saying anything was traitorous.

That article crashes Firefox.
-
no it doesn't
-
I would not go so far as to call him a traitor, but when you are responcible for investigations into the Presidency, it is best to keep your mouth shut and finish the investigation. UNLESS you are witnessing a coverup involving the investigation. I am not refering to a coverup involving the white house.

Why would I have posted if it didn't?
It crashes my copy of Firefox on WinXP. I was posting to see if anybody else had that problem.
