Do you have 3D modelling skills?
Do you have uvmapping skills?
Do you have texture making skills?
If the answer to any of the above is true then I have one more question to ask you. Would you like to become a casual contributor to The Babylon Project? That is, someone who contributes to the mod occasionally in some way without becoming a full "team member".
I'm interested in discovering how many people we have available to us who fit into the above catagory. In order to determine if it is worth my while making our development process a little more transparent in order to help casual contributors. Of course, if nobody responds to this thread then there's not much point.

I am a good UV mapper.
Can't texture worth a dime or model though.
I have a real hard job, but I can UV whatever you throw at me, well, almost... :D
I will do what I can to help, so far as UVing is concerned.
Thank you.
Do you need a working e-mail adress?

hi!
i can model texture and unwrao anything you want, but only in 3ds max. as far as i know the freespace 2 models are done in truespace, so i dont know if you can import 3ds files into truespace or the max files.
if this is possible i really would like to help you with any spaceship you want.

Max will be just fine I'm sure. There is a converter for Max now and even before that many people modelled in Max and then converted.

And where's your manners, people. ;)
:welcome: I_E_Maverick
I hope that you can help TBP. :)

I wouldn't mind after the next month or so. I can model in max and am learning to unwrap.

Moin. ;)
Sorry, I'll write in english again now. ;)

Hi there. Sorry to keep you guys waiting. I'm not on the net that much over the weekend. I'm here now though and really pleased with the response I got here.
Since there's a few of you interested in helping out I'm going to move some of the internal threads detailing what needs to be done into the public forum for you to take a look at. Please pick up any job that takes your fancy.

I just want to say some of you guys have some seriously amazing talent:yes:
